Mekhi Becton seemed to be speaking for the Jets’ fan base when he tweeted, "UNLEASH MIMS!!!!" during the Jets’ loss to the Falcons on Sunday.
Denzel Mims’ lack of playing time, especially with the Jets’ offense struggling the way it is, has been puzzling and a major storyline. But Robert Saleh didn’t seem bothered by Becton, the Jets injured left tackle, tweeting what he did.
"Mekhi’s heart is always in the right place," Saleh said.
