Zac Stacy has gone from obscurity to prominence to irrelevance to the great unknown in the span of two years. The pendulum has swung from no-name rookie to fantasy football waiver wire steal to expendable backup.
It’s been a hell of a ride so far.
Training camps across the league are sprinkled with redemptive tales from young guys, old guys, injured guys and forgotten guys. Stacy has moved from workhorse running back to roster bubble curiosity in one calendar year. Now, he’s hoping to find permanent residence with the Jets.
“You got to come into this league with the mind-set that it’s a business,” Stacy told the Daily News.
