Leo Koloamatangi is Jets First Player to opt out due to Covid-19

Jets offensive lineman Leo Koloamatangi is reportedly the Jets first player to announce he will be sitting out the 2020 season due to concerns over COVID-19.

The #Jets have an opt-out: OL Leo Koloamatangi, source said, informed the team that he’ll do so due to COVID-19 concerns. He got playing time late last season.

Koloamatangi didn’t see any action in 2020 but was on the active roster for the season’s final seven weeks and likely had a shot to compete for a backup job this season.
