The NY Jets' fanbase nearly had a collective heart attack on Thursday, as quarterback Justin Fields suffered a lower leg injury that forced him into the locker room via cart. Luckily for everyone involved, the injury doesn't seem to be as bad as many originally feared.
Fields suffered a dislocated toe, which will likely put him on ice for a few days. Head coach Aaron Glenn said that Fields is day-to-day after his injury, which is a much better outcome than a fanbase overwhelmed by negativity was expecting.
Fields isn't letting the injury get him down.
