The Jets have signed running back Lache Seastrunk and have waived/injured RB Matthew Tucker.

Seastrunk (5'10", 201), whose first name is pronounced "Lake," was the sixth-round selection (No. 186 overall) by Washington out of Baylor. He was a 1,000-yard rusher for the Bears in both 2012 and '13, and in '13 (in the same backfield as QB Bryce Petty), he ran for 1,177 yards at 7.4 yards/carry, both the top figures in the Big 12 that season.

He was a final cut of the Redskins in 2014, then was signed to the Carolina and Tennessee practice squads later that season.
