Kevin Greene Joins Jets Defensive Staff

The Jets announced they have hired Kevin Greene as the team’s OLBs coach.

A well decorated player and Hall of Fame linebacker, Greene coached the same position for the Packers from 2009-2013. He began his coaching career in 2008 as an intern for the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he spent three seasons as a player. Greene is most recognizable for his work with Clay Matthews, who quickly became one of the NFL’s best pass rushers, racking up 50.5 sacks in his first five seasons. In 2011, Greene won his first Super Bowl as a member of the Packers’ 2010-2011 championship team.
