Things didn’t go quite as well for Justin Fields against the Giants as they did last week facing the Green Bay Packers.
The Jets quarterback completed his first pass to rookie tight end Mason Taylor for four yards before missing on each of his next four attempts.
Fields had one pass that was rushed by Kayvon Thibodeaux before bouncing a screen pass and having a pair of passes to Garrett Wilson broken up.
The Jets starting offense did manage to get on the board on the strength of their run game as Breece Hall, Braelon Allen and Fields ran it on 11 of 13 plays before Nick Folk hit on a 38-yard kick.
