Jordan Travis Announces Retirement from Football

The New York Jets announced that quarterback Jordan Travis has decided to retire from football. Travis was selected by the Jets in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, but he never appeared in a game after sustaining a serious leg injury in his final college appearance at Florida State. Despite a lengthy rehab process, he was ultimately advised to step away from the game for medical reasons.

Travis was drafted with the 171st overall pick after a standout career at Florida State. In 2023, he completed 63.9 percent of his passes with 20 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, leading the Seminoles to an 11-0 start.
