John Franklin-Myers found himself unable to speak, overcome with emotion over his new contract with the Jets and what it will mean to his family. Finally, a nearby Jets official said, "I think that speaks for itself."
With that, Franklin-Myers left the interview area in London on Friday in advance of Sunday’s game against the Falcons and began the next phase of his career.
The Jets hope it features the continued upward trajectory of a versatile, 25-year-old defensive lineman who only two years ago was waived by the Rams.
