The most famous New York Jet is making the move from Broadway to premium cable.
Joe Namath will be the season finale subject of “NFL Icons”, a docuseries created by NFL Films in conjunction with Epix, a pay television network/movie channel under the supervision of Metro-Goldwyn Mayer (MGM). Previous episodes of the series have centered on some of the most well-known names in league history, including Brett Favre, Jerry Rice, and Steve Sabol.
Epix released a preview of the episode on Friday, featuring a voiceover of Namath over some of the most memorable moments of his NFL career.
