Joe Douglas filling openings in Jets' personnel department

Jets newly named general manager Joe Douglas is expected to add two familiar faces to the personnel department, hiring former Browns general manager and Ravens executive Phil Savage and Ravens assistant pro personnel director Chad Alexander.

The Jets have also reportedly hired Rex Hogan, who had served as the Jets’ director of college scouting before becoming the Colts’ vice president of player personnel in 2017, to serve as the assistant GM under Douglas.

An NFL source confirmed Savage and Alexander are expected to join Douglas’ staff. The news was first reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
