Count Joe Benigno as one pessimistic New York Jets fan.
Benigno joined WFAN’s “Tiki and Tierney Show” for his weekly segment. Brandon Tierney, a fellow Jets fan, asked him right off the bat what he thought about the swirling quarterback rumors, most notably involving Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr. Tierney specifically wanted to know how Benigno is handling all the drama.
“Well, I don’t expect it to happen,” Benigno replied. “It’s very easy to deal with. When you’re a Jet fan for almost 60 years, I always say this: expect the worst [and] you’re never disappointed.
