Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Jets brought in free agent RB Jahad Thomas for a workout on Wednesday.

Thomas, 21, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement.

The Cowboys waived Thomas with an injury designation a few weeks ago and he later reverted to their injured reserve list. Dallas elected to cut him loose from injured reserve on Monday.
