The New York Jets have officially parted ways with veteran kicker Greg Zuerlein, waiving the 13-year pro after three seasons with the team.

Zuerlein, known for his powerful leg and clutch ability, joined the Jets in 2022 and brought much-needed consistency to the position. He made 84 of 96 field goal attempts during his time in New York (87.5%), including a 60-yard bomb in 2022 that tied a franchise record. His 2023 campaign was especially solid, converting 35 of 38 field goals. However, after a slight decline in 2024 and a new regime in charge, the Jets are turning the page.
