Jets trying to handle Quincy Enunwa situation ‘in house’

Jets coach Adam Gase said the organization will handle the Quincy Enunwa situation “in-house,” but player rep Kelvin Beachum already has involved the NFL Players’ Association.

Enunwa, who is out for the season with a neck injury, revealed in a Twitter rant Thursday night the Jets fined him this week for missing two medical treatment sessions.

“It’s a touchy subject right now, honestly,” Beachum said after practice Friday. “We’re trying to handle it in-house. I’m talking to the [NFLPA] about it. Just asking questions about what’s protocol. We’ll see what transpired. There’s conversations we’ve had.
