New York Jets star Robby Anderson believes he “could have wound up dead” during his confrontation with Florida cops, the player’s attorney told The Post on Saturday.
“He’s not accusing anybody of anything…but what happens to young black men when they’re stopped for a traffic offense? Because that’s what it was. The other stuff was after the fact,” said Miami-based attorney Ed O’Donnell.
The 24-year-old wide receiver was busted early Friday for driving double the speed limit, and then threatening to sexually assault the responding officer’s wife, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
