The day after the Jets' 7-3 preseason-opening victory over Tennessee, the team has signed defensive back Robenson Therezie and have waived fullback Algernon Brown.
Therezie (5'9", 212) was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn by Atlanta after the 2015 draft. He played in 25 games (two starts) for the Falcons in 2015-16 with one interception, two pass defenses and 32 tackles, plus four more special teams tackles.
He was waived by Atlanta last December and acquired on waivers by New Orleans. He was waived by the Saints on Saturday after participating in 24 plays (11 at safety, 13 on ST) in the Saints' 20-14 loss at Cleveland on Thursday.
