The New York Jets have spent years, even decades, in quarterback purgatory. They’ve cycled through seemingly endless signal callers, unable to find one to carry the torch for the long haul. Whether it’s been failed draft picks or veteran disappointments, the Jets have had failure after failure under center.
While Justin Fields has certainly shown flashes of high-level play in his limited time in New York, there’s no guarantee he’ll hold the starting job in future seasons. If this team’s losing ways continue through the rest of 2025, it may be time to look back to the NFL Draft for a replacement.
