Jets’ other deal with the Colts is looking like a winner, too

The Jets hope the trade they made with the Colts in March is remembered in franchise lore. That was the move that got them the No. 3 pick so they could draft potential franchise quarterback Sam Darnold.

But it is another trade with the Colts that may be less memorable but has had an impact on this season. During the draft, the Jets sent a seventh-round pick to the Colts in exchange for defensive end Henry Anderson.

The move hardly moved the needle when it was made. Eight months later, Anderson has proven to be a valuable pickup for the Jets.
