Jets’ new GM set to make three key hires

The front office staff of new Jets general manager Joe Douglas is coming into focus.

ESPN reported the Jets are hiring Colts vice president of player personnel Rex Hogan as assistant general manager. The NFL Network also reported Douglas is set to hire longtime Ravens assistant director of college and pro personnel Chad Alexander as the director of player personnel and former Brown general manager Phil Savage for a job in the personnel department.

Hogan actually worked for the Jets from 2015-17 under former GM Mike Maccagnan. He departed after the 2017 draft to join the Colts.
