Jets might have a potential hidden gem in Jordan Leggett

Before getting drafted by the New York Jets in the 5th Round of the 2017 NFL Draft, tight end Jordan Leggett made a name for himself at Clemson. In his entire collegiate career, Leggett totaled 1,598 receiving yards, 112 receptions, and 18 touchdowns.

Leggett’s 14.3 yards per catch average was impressive as one could only imagine how that would translate to the NFL. Unfortunately for Leggett, he didn’t suit up for a single game with the exception of Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns but wasn’t put in the game.

It remains to be seen if the Jets wanted to continue developing him on the sideline but the truth of the matter is, the potential is there for him to be a legitimate receiving threat on offense.
