The Jets linebackers had a rough start to the season, but Demario Davis played the game of his life Sunday.
The veteran inside linebacker had 12 tackles, three tackles for a loss. According to Pro Football Focus, he was targeted seven times, but only gave up 18 yards on six catches.
“It was great to see him command the defense and still make plays,” Jets coach Todd Bowles said. “He was thinking a little bit too much earlier in the year, but now he’s playing faster and it’s coming easy for him. He did a good job today.
