Jets LB Blake Cashman out for season with shoulder injury

Time to work some magic, Gregg Williams.

The Jets defensive coordinator lost another inside linebacker on Thursday, with rookie Blake Cashman ruled out for the season after suffering a shoulder injury, a source confirmed.

Cashman suffered the injury in practice on Wednesday and will join fellow inside linebackers Avery Williamson (knee) and Albert McClellan (concussion) on IR. C.J Mosley (groin) isn’t expected back anytime soon and Neville Hewitt (stringer) has yet to be cleared for contact, leaving the Jets with Brandon Copeland and James Burgess, who was activated last week from the practice squad, at the position.
