The Jets are moving closer to landing their new general manager this weekend.
The team interviewed Seahawks co-director of player personnel Scott Fitterer on Friday. They also will interview Saints director of pro scouting Terry Fontenot on Saturday, according to the NFL Network and Eagles vice president of player personnel Joe Douglas on Sunday, according to Sports Illustrated.
They are expected to interview Bears assistant director of player personnel Champ Kelly early next week. They have requested an interview with Vikings assistant general manager George Paton. There was a report Paton has declined the Jets’ interview request, but sources said that report was not accurate and Paton has not decided whether he will interview yet.
