Jets host receiver Kyle Williams for free agent workout

The Jets on Sunday hosted free agent wide receiver Kyle Williams for a visit and a workout at their facility in Florham Park.

Williams was most recently with the Broncos, but he missed the entire 2015 season with a torn Achilles tendon.

Williams, who turns 28 in July, was a sixth-round draft pick by the 49ers in 2010. His father, Kenny, is the executive vice president of the Chicago White Sox.

Kyle Williams was a 47th round draft pick by the White Sox in 2006, but he opted to play football at Arizona State.
