The New York Jets announced that they are bringing in free agent WR Quinton Patton for a visit on Saturday.
Patton, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the 49ers in the 2013 NFL Draft out of Louisiana Tech. He just finished the final year of a four-year, $2.551 million rookie contract that included a $391,500 signing bonus.
Patton went down with a foot injury during Week 15’s game against the Falcons and was subsequently placed on the season-ending injured reserve.
In 2016, Patton appeared in 14 games for the 49ers and recorded 37 receptions for 208 yards receiving with no touchdowns.
