Jets GM Joe Douglas: Everyone has to own this mess

The Jets have lost six of their first seven games, but now they must avoid suffering an even bigger indignity if they are unable to defeat the winless Dolphins on Sunday.

“As a team, 1-6, obviously not where we want to be,” GM Joe Douglas said Tuesday in Florham Park. “We’ve got a lot of work to do. Not just coaching, not just players, not just personnel, everybody. … We’re a team that got floored a little bit, got knocked to the canvas, and unfortunately hasn’t been able to pick themselves up. That’s part of the growing process as a team, as an organization, to be able to handle adversity.
