Bill Belichick spent the better part of his football life torturing the New York Jets. I don't need to run through the many examples of this. Whether it was as the architect of the 20-year Patriots' dynasty, or as the suddently departing coach of the Jets, he made life miserable for New York.
And as he suffered one of the more embarrassing losses of his career in his opening game as the University of North Carolina head football coach on Monday, Jets fans from all over rejoiced.
As a Jets fan myself, I'm not going to tell you that I've stooped so low as to enjoy the sitcom that has become the once proud coach's life (I absolutely, without a doubt have), but I understand why fans are.
