It’s technically still early in the 2025 NFL season. Nothing should feel completely doom and gloom with three months of games still ahead, but quarterback play for the New York Jets has left a lot to be desired, and that’s probably an understatement.
Justin Fields has struggled mightily — again, an understatement. He had a promising start in Week 1, looking like the same player once hyped as one of college football’s top stars at Ohio State.
But that optimism unraveled almost overnight with a miserable performance against Buffalo, followed by games where he’s only padded his stats in garbage time.
