Prior to the New York Jets’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the Jets elevated linebacker Troy Reeder and offensive tackle Brant Banks from the practice squad.
Troy Reeder is a 32 year old, 6’ 3”, 245 pound linebacker out of Delaware. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in 2019 by the Los Angeles Rams. Reeder spent his entire NFL career with the Rams through the 2025 season. In July 2026 the Detroit Lions signed Reeder, and he was with the Lions through their 2026 training camp before the Lions released him prior to the start of the 2026 season.
