Jets draft bust Jachai Polite is quickly unemployed again

Former Jets third-round pick Jachai Polite is out of another NFL job.

The talented pass-rusher, who racked up more than $100,000 in Jets fines before being cut just months after being drafted, was released from the Seahawks’ practice squad Monday amid a three-week stint.

It’s unclear what led to Polite’s release, as practice squad players are axed all the time without fanfare.

But Polite’s fall from potential first-round pick last fall to unemployed in Week 4 of his rookie season is astonishing.

Polite reportedly scared teams off during their interviews with him at the NFL Scouting Combine, and spent about 10 percent of his $1.
