Jets ditch ex-Giant, swipe another in tight end search

The Jets said goodbye to one castoff Giants tight end on Monday while welcoming another.

The Jets waived Adrien Robinson and successfully claimed Jerome Cunningham off waivers from the Giants as part of their ongoing effort to fortify one of their weakest positions.

The Jets also signed rookie cornerback Bryson Keeton on Monday while waiving former Steelers running back Dri Archer, a 2014 third-round pick by Pittsburgh.

Keeton, an undrafted free agent from Montana State, had been one of 22 tryout players at the Jets’ rookie minicamp last weekend.

Cunningham, waived by Big Blue on Friday, had eight catches for 59 yards in nine games last season.
