Jets' Damon Harrison as he nears free agency: 'The best of me has yet to come'

Jets nose tackle Damon Harrison, who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2012, is preparing for a big payday in free agency.

Harrison is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on March 9. Once an anonymous player from William Penn University (an NAIA school in rural Iowa), he is now is one of the NFL's best nose tackles.

In the past, Harrison hasn't been shy about publicly stating his confidence in his ability. And this week was no different, as he took to Twitter to write this:

The fact that the best of me has yet to come should excite my supporters.
