It looks like the Jets have found their wide receiver insurance in a converted quarterback.
The team is nearing a deal with free agent wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, according to multiple reports Thursday, after not making the position a priority last week when the market opened. The terms of the agreement are pending, though it is expected to be reached as early as Thursday night, NFL Network reported.
Pryor is coming off a disappointing season with the Redskins, landing on injured reserve Nov. 21 with an ankle injury that had hobbled him for weeks. After signing a one-year, $8 million contract to come to Washington last offseason, Pryor managed just 20 receptions and one touchdown in nine games.
