Innis, a Bronx native, was a member of the track & field team at High School for Medical Sciences. Clarke, a Queens native, was a member of the track and field, football and wrestling teams at Springfield Gardens High School.
“It is my pleasure to present these scholarships to Astia and Christopher on behalf of the Jets as the begin their college education,” Bowles said. “These students have shown, both athletically and academically, what can be achieved when you work hard.”
Innis and Clarke will attend Williams College and the State University of Brockport respectively in the fall.
