Adam Gase is taking a blind eye to his first Jets controversy.
The new Jets head coach was mercilessly mocked in his opening press conference on Monday for his bulging eyes that set the internet aflame. Gase was asked about the various memes later that day on the “Michael Kay Show” and pleaded ignorance. He was still doing so on Thursday and had a message for those preoccupied with it.

“I don’t have Twitter, Instagram, I don’t read the internet, I don’t watch TV,” Gase said on ESPN Radio’s “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz” on Wednesday, via Yahoo.
