On Tuesday, WFAN’s Craig Carton hopped on his afternoon drive show with Evan Roberts to make a little announcement—one that would see a bulk of the New York Jets fan base jump for joy.
The Jets had already notified Gase that he would be relieved of his coaching duties at the conclusion of Week 17’s game against the New England Patriots, according to Carton.
