Ryan Fitzpatrick, Antonio Cromartie and Zac Stacy starred with strong first halves and Walt Powell added a second-half bolt, getting the Jets started on their 28-18 triumph over the Giants at MetLife Stadium tonight. The win was the Jets' fifth in a row and ninth in the last 10 as the away team in their annual preseason battle with the Giants, and it gave the Green & White the 3-2 lead in the MetLife Bowl standings.
But most important for both sides was to make lots of progress in the third preseason game on their way to Opening Day.
