Jets 2026 draft projection improves following chaotic Week 14

Related Topics: New York Jets, Cleveland Browns

The New York Jets didn’t move from their No. 7 spot in the 2026 NFL Draft order following Sunday’s 34–10 loss to Miami, but their outlook still improved following what was a chaotic week of football.

ESPN Analytics now gives the Jets a five percent chance to land the top pick, up from just two percent a week ago. Their odds of securing a top-five selection jumped as well, climbing to 59% after Sunday’s results. The Jets are now projected to pick fourth, an improvement from last week’s projection of fifth.

Tennessee’s late win over the Cleveland Browns dropped the Titans in the draft order, New Orleans stunned Tampa Bay in one of the biggest upsets of the year, and every other team in the top-ten mix took losses.
