The ice is beginning to melt between Jets star safety Jamal Adams and the team after he sat down and talked to team CEO and chairman Christopher Johnson on Thursday.
While Adams talked with Johnson, he has yet to talk to general manager Joe Douglas or head coach Adam Gase since the team had trade discussions about Adams earlier this week.
“We’ll eventually talk, but I felt comfortable talking to Mr. Johnson,” Adams told The Post. “ I felt like we had an understanding. I’ve always had a lot of respect for him. When he said that he wanted to talk, I was down for it.
