CLEVELAND a On Thursday night, after the Jets' humiliating 21-17 loss at the Browns, coach Todd Bowles accepted all blame for the fiasco.
But during his Friday morning conference call, when he was asked if the Jets' ill-timed penalties are on the players or the coaches, he didn't hesitate with his answer.
"Well, the penalties are definitely on the players," he said. "I mean, the coaches can't play for them. We understand situations and we know what to do and what not to do. Guys have got to be calmer in certain situations.
