Is Cowboys' Jerry Jones a likely Pro Football Hall of Famer?

Jerry Jones has been a lot of things to a lot of different people since he bought the Dallas Cowboys in 1989.

But is he about to become a Hall of Famer?

Recent history says yes. Jones and former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue were named 2017 nominees to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the Contributors category on Tuesday. That means both men will be voted on for induction in February when the Hall of Fame selection committee holds its annual voting meeting.

As The Fort Worth Star-Telegram points out, every individual that has received a Contributor nomination has been voted into the Hall of Fame.
