How Jets' Demario Davis stood up to owners at NFL anthem protest meeting

The Jets had two veteran player representatives -- inside linebacker Demario Davis and left tackle Kelvin Beachum -- at the closed-doors meeting earlier this month between players and NFL owners, where the league-wide national anthem protests were discussed.

And Davis had a prominent voice in that room, according to an excellent ESPN The Magazine story written by Seth Wickersham and Don Van Natta Jr.
