With Darnold holding out, McCown and Bridgewater got a head start in the QB battle. So how did they do? Not great, honestly. Find a full breakdown here.
Here were their stats from camp's first three practices:
McCown: 103 reps (all with starters), 34-of-57 passing (59.6 percent), one touchdown, zero interceptions
Bridgewater: 103 reps (all with backups), 32-of-50 passing (64 percent), two touchdowns, zero interceptions
Darnold wasn't always sharp, but he was at least resilient. After having his arm hit and throwing an interception, he bounced right back with a long completion downfield to Chad Hansen, which started a 10-play drive.
