Here's how Darron Lee improved coverage skills, but are he and Jets ready for Vikings' Kirk Cousins?

Jets inside linebacker Darron Lee knew he had to improve his coverage skills this season.

During his first two years, Lee didn't really showcase the coverage athleticism that the Jets largely used as their rationale for drafting him 20th overall in 2016.

Pro Football Focus' coverage grades weren't kind to Lee in his first two seasons. He ranked 74th of 75 linebackers in 2016 and 74th of 77 linebackers last season.

But through six games in 2018, Lee has three interceptions, including one pick-six. Lee, who had zero picks in his first two years, got his third pick Sunday in win over the Colts.
