New York Police confirmed to NFL.com that former Jets first-rounder Muhammad Wilkerson was arrested Saturday morning, and released on bond later the same day.

A first-round pick out of Temple, Wilkerson was selected by the Jets with the No. 30 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft. He spent seven seasons with the Jets, posting 405 total tackles, 71 tackles for loss, 44.5 sacks, 103 quarterback hits, 11 forced fumbles and two interceptions.
He broke out in 2013 with 10.
