The New York Giants were able to interview a former New York Jets coach for a staff spot. Former Gang Green defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers met with the Giants on Thursday, per Tom Rock of Newsday.
The Giants currently don’t have an opening on their staff; however, they could still bring in Rodgers to improve the defensive side of the ball. The Giants’ front office would create this position just for him.
Rodgers would assist Giants defensive coordinator James Bettcher. The coach is coming off his first season as DC for Big Blue, and his side of the ball could use some improvement.
