Ex-Jets TE Konrad Reuland gave gift in death to Rod Carew

In December, ex-Jets tight end Konrad Reuland died at the way-too-young age of 29. A brain aneurysm robbed him of his future, but he wound up giving back to the world anyway.

Reuland was an organ donor, and his heart went -- in a December transplant -- to Hall of Fame baseball player Rod Carew, 71.

Reuland also played for the Ravens, and according to their website, Carew met Reuland's mother three months after the transplant.
