Former New York Jet Muhammad Wilkerson was arrested for driving while intoxicated early Saturday, sources said.
The 315-pound, 6-foot-4 defensive end was stopped in Upper Manhattan at about 4 a.m., with a blood alcohol level of .09, law enforcement sources said. The legal limit for driving is .08.
The 29-year-old was awaiting arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court Saturday afternoon.
Wilkerson played for the NY Jets from 2011 to 2017, and with the Green Bay Packers in 2018. He is currently a free agent.
