Jets second-year running back Eli McGuire earned our praises last season right here, but that’s nothing compared to the praise that was heaped on him today by running backs coach Stump Mitchell according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York.

When asked about the versatile McGuire, Mitchell reportedly said the back reminds him of former San Diego Chargers and Jets running back Ladanian Tomlinson.
